CHILDLINE Agra
CHILDLINE in Agra was established to provide assistance to all the children who are in need of care and protection in the city. The service is provided through a toll-free 24-hour emergency phone service (1098). It aims to respond not only to emergency needs but also to link children to various services established for their long-term care and rehabilitation. CHILDLINE has been designed to act as a crucial link between children in need of care and protection and the available facilities. This one-point contact is meant to facilitate instant access to support, advice, and active intervention. This year CHILDLINE Agra handled 414 cases.
