Radio Programme

CHETNA holds expertise in using audio based approaches to enable leadership, creativity and enhancing child participation to disseminate information on the concerns of street children in the wider public. CHETNA has twice implemented the radio program “Baat Nanhe Dilon ki” consisting of 13 episodes each, including scripting, studio hiring, anchoring and broadcasting. The audio clips produced under various interventions such as “Street Talk” are widely broadcasted through social media, leading to a wave of sensitization amongst the public and resulting in a heart-warming response and donations from well-wishers across the country. CHETNA has also developed audio education material consisting of stories and audio plays to curb substance abuse prevalent amongst street connected children. Such scripts have also been widely appreciated by educators as well as children to further their interest in different domains concerning the rights of children.
